My xbox live .............. sucks

Something is really really wrong in my MTU (what's that ? )
I can't ever go online.
By the way , i just found out that if i create a silver account , i still can play player matches in GoW but what about crackdown , i have the premium update and my friend surely can join in game session right ?

If you have gold XBL and your friend does then you can play online... you can't use a silver account for online play.

uuhhh you can. XBL gold is for the true skill matchmaking.i still can play player matches.

Why not just get gold and be done with it that way you never have to worry about the obscure ins and outs of the xbox live system and you won't be denied access to any online game feature

why is gold retarded? james makes the best point. if you buy a highly compettive game such as when halo 3 comes out or gears of war, why wouldn't want to be able to play ranked?

u cant play in online matches with a silver but u can add friends,message and private chat. Id get gold defiently worth the money. and do yearly in stead of monthly saves you some money.
