Two WorldsTwo WorldsYou are viewing Gameplay Videos, Trailers, and Anything else for Two Worlds
Reviewed by: AndyPublisher: SouthPeak Interactive Developer: Reality Pump Two Worlds starts you on an adventure to save your sister from the
"strangers" I guess you could say. The story is kinda lame, basically
"Go get these 5 pieces and you can have your sister" and doesn't differ
much from that. To get the story items you have to be higher level to
get in the areas with them, but about 99% of the world is open at the
start of the game. To level up you can fight enemies which are
scattered among the game or do quests for town folk. Enemies in the
land consist of wolves, dragons, orcs, and much more. The quests you
will get mostly from people in towns which there are about 7 main towns
and many small settlements. Every character will talk in the game even
your character which is impressive, but most non-quest npc's have the
same dialog. When you level you get to put points into (basically) more
mana, health, and damage. Also when leveling you can put points into
"skills" such as lockpicking, sword play, swim speed, dual weilding,
levels of spells, stealth, and plenty more. Some of the skills must be
unlocked with a trainer which are some what hard to find. To travel
Antaloor (the game's world) you can go on horse back, teleport, or just
walk. There are some skeleton horses and dragon horses which look
cooler but don't offer anything new. While on a horse you can
attack/use spells which is useless and broken system, but one good
thing is that it does more damage. The teleportation in the game is
though teleport "ruins" which you must find before you can use each
one, and there are 40+. After about 11 hours of gameplay I got to level
31 which flew by, after figuring out the very confusing (and annoying)
quest system the game becomes a breeze. Since level 50 is the highest
(guessing because its the last achievement) level the game actually has
about 25+ hours of gameplay. They also have multiplayer in this game
that only lets you pick some of the map and play with 8 players which
is a huge disappointment, you also can't use your story character (you
have to create a online character). If you have played Oblivion you
will feel very familiar to this game because they are basically the
same game but two worlds still have a good amount of fun and is worth a
play. The Good: Item classes, many items (and armor sets), more then just grassy landscape, and easy to level. The Bad: Very weak character creator, slow down, mutliplayer basically doesn't exist, and weak story. |
